AMSONIA x Butterscotch™ (Butterscotch™ Bluestar) Similar to other Amsonia but with an improved form. Abundant clusters of small, powdery blue flowers bloom on reddish stems above a mound of willowy, narrow, green foliage. The bright green leaves of spring and summer change to dramatic hues of yellow, deep gold and butterscotch in fall. Easy to grow and relatively low maintenance.

A Northern Sunset perennial, it prefers any, moist to well-drained soil in full sun to part sun.
