Honeycomb Blue Grama

BOUTELOUA gracilis Honeycomb PPAF (Honeycomb Blue Grama) From our friend Brent Horvath at Intrinsic Perennial Gardens comes his new blue grama grass; Bouteloua gracilis ‘Honeycomb’. This variety is an adaptable and showy form of native grass. Its honey gold inflorescence has yellow pollen hanging down on the eyelashes. Flowering begins in July and holds on into winter. It is hardy in Zones 4-9.

A Northern Sunset grass, it prefers average, dry to well-drained soil in full sun.
