Hemerocallis x Scottish Fantasy is an excellent grower and a rapid propagator. It comes from a phenomenal lineage which includes the award winning ‘South Seas’.
Large, 5-5½”, coral pink flowers with a sunny yellow watermark, lime green throat, and pie crust ruffles open wide and flat for best display. These fragrant blossoms are produced on thick, well-branched stems which carry 20 or more buds apiece in midseason and then again later in the summer.
Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone).
A Northern Sunset Perennial, it prefers average, well-drained soil in full sun to part sun.
