SISYRINCHIUM angustifolium (Stout Blue-eyed Grass) Stout Blue-eyed Grass is a cute little Wisconsin Native plant related to the Iris family. Dense tufts of narrow, grassy, light green foliage look good whether in bloom or not, making this a nice accent along paths and walkways, rock gardens and cottage gardens. Delicate, yellow centered, violet-blue, star-shaped flowers adorn this plant in late spring to early summer.
A NATIVE, Naturally! Perennial forb, it prefers average, well-drained soil in full sun to part sun.
