Arabis caucasica compacta Snowcap has abundant, fragrant flowers and attractive silvery foliage. A wonderful small-scale ground cover. Attractive cascading over stones, or as edging near the front of the garden. Shear after blooming to encourage new growth and a neat appearance. Also known as ‘Schneehaube’, it is a low-growing, mat-forming cultivar which reaches 7″ tall with a 18″ spread. The evergreen foliage is densely covered in clusters of white blooms during the spring.
