Silver Sage

Salvia argentea is remarkable for its large felty silver leaves that look fabulous in contrast with fine-textured grasses and delicate flowers in cottage gardens. A biennial that is easy to grow in well-drained soils, the many-branched trusses of white flowers shoot up from the basal rosettes of foliage in the second year. Biennial to short-lived perennial.

A Northern Sunset Biennial. It prefers average, very well-drained soil in full sun.
