MISCANTHUS sinensis Scout™ (M77) PP30402 (Scout™ Maiden Grass) Another infertile variety from the University of Georgia. Scout™ Maiden Grass features bold plumes of shell pink flowers rising above the foliage in late summer. It has slender, rich green foliage with a white mid-rib. As a bonus, the foliage turns gorgeous shades of yellow, orange, and red in the fall. It would make a great sub for Gracillimus or Graziella.
A Northern Sunset grass, it prefers average, well-drained soil in full sun to part sun.
