Purple Giant Hyssop

Full Sun Perennial

Agastache scrophulariifolia or Purple Giant Hyssop has crowded spikes of pale purple flowers (darker in full sun) mixed with purple bracts from July through September. It has large fragrant (minty) leaves that end just below the flower spikes. Plant this beauty where you can touch it and enjoy the scent! It is an excellent nectar plant, attracts butterflies, is drought tolerant, makes a nice cut flower, and is a good choice for rain gardens.
