Anemone hupehensis PRETTY LADY Emily (PP22303) is a dwarf variety of Japanese Anemone. It produces large, semi-double pink blossoms on wiry stems above deeply divided, dark green foliage in early fall. The long blooming flowers are followed by attractive, fluffy seed heads. Emily prefers rich, well-drained soil, but tolerates clay-based soils as well. Foliage edges will turn brown if the soil is allowed to dry out.
A Northern Sunset Perennial, it prefers part shade to part sun in rich, moist to well-drained soil.
