Peucedanum ostruthium ‘Daphnis’

Peucedanum ostruthium ‘Daphnis’ is an awful name for a beautiful plant. Looking like a large Aegopodium but much better behaved, it can fit into many shady areas of the landscape or garden.  Need a specimen plant?…check!  How about a replacement for the dreaded Snow-on-the-Mountain? (and it doesn’t go dormant)…check! Need a fill-in or “facer plant” under a small tree or with other large shade perennials?… check! It even attracts butterflies to its huge, Queen Anne’s Lace type flowers.
