Aquilegia Little Lanterns is a cultivar/nativar of the Native Wild Columbine. Like the species, it adds dainty red flowers to the shade garden in late spring. This variety keeps a lower height than its parent making it ideal for the front of the shade border or among low-growing woodland perennials. Columbines are relatively short lived, so let some plants go to seed to self-sow.
