Nepeta sibirica Aurea was selected here at the W. & E. Radtke nursery! It typically grows about 30”-36” tall and features aromatic, chartreuse to golden foliage with loose whorls of small, abundant, two-lipped, trumpet-shaped, medium to deep violet-blue flowers. It works great in mixed sunny borders where it sends up tall slender spires of lovely lavender blue flowers that create a show for weeks in July-August. The leaves are enticing to cats. And bees love it!
A Northern Sunset Perennial, it prefers average, well-drained to dry soil in full sun to part sun.
