Peucedanum ostruthium Daphnis hails from France. A beautiful herbaceous variegated Peuce Masterwort, the broad, golden margins on the spring leaves mature creamy white surrounding a deep green to gray-green interior and grow to 6 to 8 inches tall. White summer flowers atop stalks rising from 12 to 18 inches tall. The lovely large round coins of flowers superficially resemble Queen Anne’s Lace. This umbellifer is gorgeous. ‘Daphnis’ though looking like the variegated form of Aegopodium is clumping with relatively slow increase – it is well behaved and not at all invasive.

A Northern Sunset Perennial, it prefers rich, moist soil in part shade to full shade.
