Bebb’s Sedge

Carex bebbii is a Wisconsin Native grass which is also found throughout the northern US and even in pockets of the Rocky Mountains where it inhabits sunny wet areas. It has finely textured grassy foliage and club-shaped spikelets produced at the end of flowering stems. It may not be a horticultural standout, but it provides a neutral backdrop in water gardens and boggy areas as well as moisture retentive soils in part shade to full sun.

A Native, Naturally! Grass, it prefers part shade to full sun in average, moist to wet soil.
