Nepeta sibirica Souvenir d’André Chaudron is a compact cultivar with aromatic, lance-shaped leaves, and loose spikes of lavender-blue flowers which bloom over a long period in summer and early autumn. Sometimes sold as ‘Blue Beauty’.
A 1948 introduction from Dr Frank Skinner (1882-1967) of Rosehearty, Scotland then Manitoba, Canada. So, it’s not surprising that it is one tough plant!
A Northern Sunset Perennial, it prefers average, well-drained to dry soil in full sun to part sun.
