NEPETA sibirica Souvenir d’André Chaudron (André Chaudron Siberian Catmint) Nepeta sibirica ‘Souvenir d’André Chaudron’ is a compact cultivar with aromatic, lance-shaped leaves, and loose spikes of lavender-blue flowers over a long period in summer and early autumn. Sometimes sold as ‘Blue Beauty’.
A 1948 introduction from Dr Frank Skinner (1882-1967) of Rosehearty, Scotland then Manitoba, Canada. So, it’s not surprising that it is one tough plant!
A Northern Sunset perennial, it prefers average, well-drained to dry soil in full sun to part sun.
