Pale Indian Plantain

Full Sun Perennial

Cacalia atriplicifolia, also known as Arnoglossum atriplicifolium, is found on the edges of woods and fields. It has a majestic, vase shape. and is incredibly durable as it is rarely beaten down by rain or bent over by the weight of its blooms. It has large, white flower clusters that arise on a stately, 4′-8′ stalk which towers above other vegetation. Blooming mid-July to mid-August, it is a good nectar source for pollinating wasps.
