Common Pussy-toes

ANTENNARIA dioica (Common Pussy-toes) Pussy-toes, Antennaria dioca, is a neat, mat-forming plant, perfect for growing at the edge of borders, in rockeries and in gaps between paving stones. It bears little rosettes of grey-green woolly leaves, and masses of small pink or white flowers on short stems in summer. For best results, grow Antennaria dioca in a hot, sunny spot in poor, dry soil. It looks beautiful when combined with creeping thyme. Simply cut off or mow flowers after blooming.

A Northern Sunset perennial, it prefers average, dry soil in full sun.
