Aquilegia caerulea Songbird Mix was hybridized for a compact habit and large, long spurred flowers, “Songbird Mix” are among the showiest of all columbines. Aquilegia is especially lovely when allowed to naturalize in shady, woodland borders. They also make an excellent cut flowers, lasting up to 2 weeks in a vase.
